Welcome to Plett Artisan Market (PAM). These Terms and Conditions ("T&C") outline the rules and regulations for using our website and making purchases through our online marketplace. By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by these T&C. If you do not agree, please do not use our site.
Who We Are
Plett Artisan Market is an online platform showcasing handmade, locally produced goods from artisans based in Plettenberg Bay and surrounding areas. Each product is offered in collaboration with the individual artist or craftsperson, but all online sales and customers support are managed directly by Plett Artisan Market.
Using Our Website

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or have a parent/guardian do so on your behalf.

You agree not to misuse our website, interfere with it's security, or attempt to copy or resell its content without permission.

All content (images, text, product descriptions, and designs) is owned by Plett Artisan Market or the individual artisans and may not be used without written consent.
Products & Availability

All products are handmade and may have natural variations in size, colour, and finish.

Stock is limited. We operate on a drop system, meaning items are uploaded in limited quantities. Once sold out, they will be marked as "out of stock".

We strive to keep availability accurate, but because artisans also sell in local physical markets, items may sell out offline. In that case, we will notify you and offer a refund or replacement.
Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.

Payment is required in full at checkout. We accept {insert payment options, e.g PayFast, EFT, Credit/Debit Card.].

Prices may change without prior notice but will not affect confirmed orders.
Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped via Pudo Courier (or another courier of our choosing).

At checkout, shipping costs will be displayed and are payable by the customer.

Deliveries are currently limited to South Africa only. International shipping may be added in the future.

Delivery times may vary depending on courier service and location. We are not responsible for courier delays once a parcel has been dispatched.
Returns & Refunds

Due to the handmade nature of products, returns are only accepted if the item is damaged on arrival or incorrectly shipped.

Customers must notify us within 7 days of receiving the order with proof of the issue (photos, order number).

Refunds will be processed once the return is approved and the item is received back in its original condition.

Items purchased on sale, or personalized/custom-engraved products, are non-refundable.
Liability

Plett Artisan Market acts as a marketplace platform. While we curate and manage the products, each artisan is responsible for the craftsmanship of their work.

We are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from misuse of products.

Our maximum liability is limited to the value of your purchase.
Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy and only collect personal information necessary to process your order (e.g. name, address, contact details).

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except as required for order processing (e.g. couriers)
